Insight
The women’s rugby community - both players and those behind the camera is a close knit group. However, it had never been able to have a united voice until Women of Union was formed. Their mission, to make rugby a sport where women always feel valued, supported, safe and respected.
At Make it Clear, my role involved helping to came up with the name and the design of the brand identity. The title captures both aspects of their mission - ‘women of rugby union’ and ‘women creating a union’; whilst visually hinting to female-led movements of the past.

The strong typography is held within the iconic shape of a rugby ball, which extends across multiple brand applications and enhances the sense of community and connection.
