To refresh and update Beth Chatto's branded print collateral inline with their new visual identity.
Founded in the 1960's by Beth Chatto OBE, Beth Chatto Gardens has become an award-winning, world-renowned icon within the gardening world. Throughout its existence the gardens have remained a family-run business, currently managed by Beth Chatto's granddaughter Julia Boulton. Eager to continue Beth Chatto's legacy and take the gardens into the future, their team were keen to get their new brand identity out into the world.
Process & Outcome
Firstly, we researched and analysed the existing audience of Beth Chatto Gardens. We discovered that they needed to attract a slightly younger audience and put more emphasis on education.
By considering our research and following the guidance of their new brand guidelines, the assets I created retained the heritage of the gardens, but with more contemporary illustrations, colour selection and typographic application.
